Hi,
I am trying to find out if there is a name for my variety of jade plant. I have two, and they are purple on the underside of the leaf, and either green or purplish on the top of the leaf. I have looked at many pictures but all the ones I've seen have been purple/red on the top or edges of the leaves only - I haven't seen any with a purple underside. My plants are young, get moderate sunlight and are currently in winter. The plants were bought in NZ.
I also have attached an image from someone else with a similar plant. They say their plant is healthy and receives a lot of light. They are in the USA so their plant is currently in summer.
Thank you for any help.

Are your plants grown inside or outside ?
Your plant looks like it was grown inside, it looks a little lanky. If it was grown inside I would not go too much by the color of the leaves. A Crassula Ovata grown in shade vrs. the exact same plant grown in full sun the color if the leaves will be A LOT different
Josh mentions being a reverted tri-color ... all of my reverted tri-colors look different ... even the shape of the leaves is a little different.
I agree with Josh ... to me it looks like a Crassula Ovata.

The leaves really look like a ovata but the purple screams Obliqua to me, like a reverted tri-color If you are a Facebook user, you could go to The jade plant exchange and then to the main page listed on the top in Russian, (the admins including myself all
